City Firefighter charged with Felony Assault

In a story by the Cumberland Times News, a Cumberland city firefighter is under investigation for felony assault and other charges stemming from an incident which occurred Saturday afternoon. Tyler Christian Hochard, 22, of Frostburg, has been charged with first-degree assault, second- degree assault, disorderly conduct, wearing or carrying. Court records show Tyler Hochard posted $10,000 bond Sunday and was released from the Allegany County detention center. The investigation is ongoing.
