Community Tea & Talk With Superintendent

Two Community Tea and Talk events take place this month for parents and the public to meet with Allegany County Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Martirano. Happening at 5pm On April 15th at Mountain Ridge High School and April 22 at Allegany High, Public Information Officer Kris Kehrwald says the event has been brewing for some time…
“There’s no agenda, there’s no advance questions, nothing like that. It’s just informal chat so we can get feedback about what we can do better as a school system and we can also share updates about the different projects we have going on.”
Parents and community members are welcome to the event which the school system plans to repeat in the fall with Dr. Martirano…
“He’s all about communication and really working with the community and working with parents. We just really want the community to come out. We can learn from them, they can learn from us. We can always do things better.”
