Comptroller Visits On Flood Anniversary

Maryland’s State Comptroller Brooke Lierman was in the Western Maryland area Wednesday to visit the Georges Creek area on the anniversary of flooding that destroyed roads and businesses last May. “We did our part, working with small businesses to defer payments for taxes so there weren’t any accrued penalties or fines or interest. You know, it’s an all-of-government approach when a disaster like this strikes.”
