Coney Iron Furnace Festival Saturday

The Town of Lonaconing is holding their second annual Coney Iron Furnace Festival Saturday.  Mayor Jack Coburn says the day of family fun will begin at 12 noon and will go to 5pm with prize opportunities, games for the kids, crafts and vendors, and a chili cook-off…

“We have all-day music with the Chinese Bandits; there will be a dunking booth.  There is a beer garden for the adults—please bring your ID if you’re going to use that beer garden that day.  There’s food vendors and craft vendors and the best thing of all is the free entry.  It doesn’t cost anything to get in the park that afternoon.
