County Commissioners Meet Thursday

A public work session and public meeting will be held Thursday, February 26 by the Allegany County Commissioners. Meetings are held at the county office building at 701 Kelly Road in Cumberland.  The Work Session begins at 3pm.  Topics include discussions on the FY27 budget, Fairgrounds ballfields, Animal Shelter, Tri-County Council, DR Horton Development Agreement Status, a request from DelFest for a contract extension, and department updates.  The public meeting at 5pm includes citations to county employees, a Code Home Rule hearing, and an agreement for dirt track racing.
