Allegany County’s Transportation Planner Roy Cool has been honored by the county for 50 years of service. Cool began his career in the Department of Planning and Zoning after graduating Frostburg State College in 1976. Planning and Zoning Director Jim Squires thanked Cool at a recent commissioners meeting for spending half a century with the county…

“Roy, we appreciate your service. We value your shared wisdom gained by 50 years of government administration and all the work you have performed to make Allegany County a better place to live. Roy, on behalf of the citizens of Allegany County and your fellow employees of the Department of Planning and Zoning, congratulations on fulfilling 50 years of dedicated service.”
