Cox Comments On Moore’s Remarks

Reaction continues to surround Governor Wes Moore’s comments on CNBC taking the federal government to task on fiscal responsibility.  Dan Cox, the Republican candidate for Maryland governor, told reporters that putting the blame for the state’s fiscal woes on Washington only goes so far…

“The structural deficit was far before the federal government had any kind of reduction in force. Maryland experienced about the same amount Virginia did, but Virginia is three to sixth in the nation for economic activity and growth.”
