Cresaptown Holiday Flag Display Volunteer Opportunity

The Cresaptown Civic Association, has reached out seeking volunteers to assist with the community’s holiday flag display. Each year, the Cresaptown Eagles generously volunteer their time to place approximately 135 flags throughout Cresaptown for Memorial Day. The flags are taken down after Memorial Day and put back up at various holidays throughout the summer and fall. However, finding enough volunteers to help with the flags throughout the rest of the year has become increasingly challenging. According to Mr. Hill, two teams of five volunteers can typically complete putting the flags up/taking them down in approximately 2.5 hours. Mr. Hill is seeking volunteers to assist with the following dates:

November 5: Put up the flags
November 15: Take down the flags
