Criminal Summons Theft

On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 8:00 AM the Cumberland Police Department was dispatched to a business on South Mechanic Street. Officers contacted the business owner and they were provided video evidence of Dustin Edwards stealing money from the business. The officer submitted an application of charges to the District Court Commissioner. A criminal summons was issued and Edwards was served later in the day. Edwards signed for his copy of the summons and was released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
