Chris Myers

Chris Myers is the Morning Show Producer, Broadcaster, at WCBC Radio in Cumberland, Maryland. Myers handles various operational, engineering duties for the station and directs the morning news. In addition to his broadcasting role, Myers is a prominent downtown Cumberland businessman and an active community member who helps organize local events. Myers has been with the Cumberland Broadcasting Company, which operates WCBC, since August 2019 and began his career in radio broadcasting at the age of 14 as a board engineer for WQOL in Florida. In 1998 he was promoted to Chief Engineer for WTTB 1490AM and WGYL 93.7FM. In 2001 Treasure Coast broadcasters purchased additional stations WOSN, WPAW and WGNX.

Due to the extreme weather conditions and unsafe road conditions, City of Cumberland trash collection will be cancelled for Monday, Lower West Side, East Side, Seton Drive, Upper West Side area of the City of Cumberland. Residents in this area will receive double trash pickup on their next regularly scheduled collection day: Thursday January 29th 2026.
