Deadline For Testimony In Annapolis Special Session

Next week’s special session in Annapolis on redistricting will allow public testimony, but deadlines to sign up are extremely limited. Republican Senator Mike McKay says both written and oral testimony will be accepted but those concerned need to act fast…

“Because of the crazy timelines, you have to sign up on Friday to be able to speak on Monday. If you go down, they’re only going to take 50 people; if you sign up virtually and they end up getting more than 50 people, the presiding officer is going to decide on if he wants to hear it or not.”
