District 6 Congresswoman April McClain-Delaney shared with reporters her experience after visiting a holding facility in Baltimore for those arrested by immigrations enforcement. A viral video showed a large group of individuals sitting, standing or laying in one room. Delaney said what she saw was heart wrenching and not indicative of American values…

“Overcrowded conditions, worse than prisons. People not having enough to eat or drink. This is a 12-hour holding facility. It has been used for 24, 48, 72 hours – up to nine days. No showers, not getting out of this holding room.”
