Downtown Milling And Paving To Begin Monday

The City of Cumberland will perform milling and paving on Pershing Street and Union Street from Mechanic to S. George Street, including a portion of S. Liberty Street. Work will happen between 5am and 5pm daily beginning Monday, September 28 through October 2, weather permitting.

Milling is schedule to begin on Union Street September 28 and continue on Pershing Street Tuesday and progress to S. Liberty Street Wednesday. Paving is expected to begin September 29th. One way traffic will be open in Union and Pershing Street corridors during the work.
