EAA Couple “Retires” From Breakfast Event

This past Sunday was a bittersweet morning for Katie and Rick Kight as they rose at 3am to prepare their last fly-in, drive-in breakfast for the Experimental Aircraft Association. Since 1973, they’ve been in charge of the morning event that’s been an important fundraiser for the organization.  While the Kights are retiring from running the breakfast, they will remain active in EAA. “I want to thank WCBC for all they’ve done with us, for us, for years. And it was a wonderful day, a sad day, but that’s okay. And we thank everybody that came yesterday and just hugged us and told us to enjoy our little retirement.”
