Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Frostburg

On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at approximately 11:07 p.m., members of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and emergency personnel responded to the area of New Georges Creek Road at Old National Pike for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a juvenile. The pedestrian was an 83-year-old male who later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. This matter remains under investigation by Cpl. J. Martel of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team.
