Fentanyl Arrests

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, a Deputy with the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling Interstate 68 near Cumberland, Maryland, when he observed several traffic violations.

During the course of the traffic stop, the Deputy observed several factors consistent with criminal behavior. The operator consented to a search of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of suspected Fentanyl and a Co 2 air pistol.

Arrested were 18 year old Austin Ravenscroft of Cumberland and 21 year old Dakota Wolfe of Keyser.  Both were charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute.
