First Debate Set For Gubernatorial Candidates

Incumbent Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Republican challenger Dan Cox have agreed to a date for a televised debate ahead of the November election.  Maryland Public Television and WBAL-TV are partnering for the debate that will take place on Tuesday, October 6^th.  Cox put out a call for at least two more debates with Moore ahead of the election, suggesting they take place at one of the state’s universities.
