Like many towns and cities in Maryland, the City of Frostburg is struggling with regulating the wide variety of bicycles and scooters racing on sidewalks and disobeying traffic laws.  Mayor Todd Logsdon said keeping up with technology is one challenge.  Logsdon added that since the state of Maryland is moving slowly on the issue, Frostburg hopes to pass its own regulations.

“And there are some that are essentially electric motorcycles, electric dirt bikes, some of them can go 40 miles an hour. And the state law just has not kept up with that.”
