Gas Exposure Training Incident

On May 26, 2026 the Cumberland Emergency Response Team conducted CS gas exposure training at a Cumberland Police Department training site. During the training a shift in the weather pattern caused an exposure at the Waste Water Treatment Facility. The Cumberland Fire Department responded and no serious or life threatening injuries were reported
