Gas Prices Still High Across Maryland, Nation

Triple-A is reporting average gas prices across the country continue to exceed $4 per gallon in most places, with California nearing $6 a gallon. In the Cumberland area, gas prices are currently averaging $4.20 for regular unleaded, up twenty cents from a week ago. “The cease fire news was immediately embraced by markets. Oil prices plunged by almost 15% after the president held off on his threat to bomb Iran into the Stone Age Tuesday night, but the prices still remain well above what they were at the start of the conflict. Negotiations are scheduled to begin Friday in Islamabad, Pakistan.”
