Governor Says Disagreements Build Democracy

During his State of the State speech on Wednesday, Governor Wes Moore admitted that lawmaking is not an easy task. “I have not always made life easy for the House or for the Senate. And I know that there are times when you have not made life easy on each other. And you know what? That’s okay. Because that’s democracy. It’s messy. It’s combative, it’s complicated, and it’s worth fighting for.”
