During his State of the State speech on Wednesday, Governor Wes Moore admitted that lawmaking is not an easy task. While all political parties want their vote to win, at the end of the day, lawmakers can still share a drink or meal at the same table. Moore said it’s all a part of making the state better…

“I have not always made life easy for the House or for the Senate. And I know that there are times when you have not made life easy on each other. And you know what? That’s okay. Because that’s democracy. It’s messy. It’s combative, it’s complicated, and it’s worth fighting for.”
