Governor Talks Cost of Living

A town hall broadcast over the weekend saw Maryland Governor Wes Moore touch on several subjects from Trump’s opinion of him and redistricting, to immigration and the Epstein files.  It also touched on Maryland being the most expensive state for utilities and housing.  Moore said he shares the concern…

“When I’m watching 37% of young Marylanders say they would consider leaving the state for one reason – housing costs. When I’m watching people who say I don’t understand how my energy bill went from $250 to $800, it’s not fair to them.”

The governor admitted more needs to be done to help Marylanders…

“My answer is that we have not done enough to be able to really fortify the grid, to get more energy options. We haven’t done enough when it comes to housing to be able to build more housing.”
