Grand Jury Indictment Arrest

On Monday, August 10, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a grand jury indictment on Aleta Snowden for CDS-Distribution-Narc. She was originally charged with CDS Distribution-Narc, CDS: Possession with Intent distribution: Narc, and CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. While effecting the arrest Snowden was searched incident to arrest and suspected fentanyl was found on her person along with paraphernalia. Snowden was issued two criminal citations. She was later taken to the Allegany County Detention Center and is currently awaiting a hearing.
