Hagerstown CSO Picked For Rural Health Committee

Meritus Health’s chief strategy officer David Lehr was recently named to the Rural Health Transformation Committee, which falls under the Maryland Department of Health. Maryland’s share of a $50 billion fund created by Congress in the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” rural health transformation seeks to strengthen outlying areas by improving healthcare access, quality and outcomes. In the first year of the five-year program, Maryland receives more than $168 million for its rural communities.
