Harriet Tubman Festivities Saturday

There will be a special celebration this Saturday at Harriet Tubman State Park in Dorchester County.  Tubman is famous as a conductor of the Underground Railroad prior to the Civil War, rescuing many slaves, including family members on the Eastern Shore.  Activities begin at 11 a.m. and run throughout the day, featuring music, stories, and cultural presentations.
