Harris Supports Repeal of 17th Amendment

“If a representative in the U.S. Senate is not doing what they should be doing for the state, the state legislature should have the ability to recall that senator and appoint a new senator. Not every six years, I think that’s way too long a term. Even in the Maryland state senate, I was there before, it’s only a four-year term.”
