Historic Vehicle Bills Almost Identical

Several bills under consideration in Annapolis would revise the age requirements for historic vehicle license plates. House Bill 004 and House Bill 125 would set the qualifying age at 25 years, with HB004 also allowing reinstatement for certain vehicles that previously lost historic status. House Bill 773, co‑sponsored by Delegate Jason Buckel, proposes raising the threshold to 30 years for historic designation and 40 years for street‑rod registration. The Queen City Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America opposes HB773.
