Hit and Run Kills Bicyclist in Hyndman

A vehicle struck and killed a bicyclist Thursday morning on Pennsylvania Route 96 near Hyndman.  The incident occurred shortly before 9 a.m.  The deceased is 65 year old Joseph Williams.  After being struck by the vehicle, Williams was thrown into a nearby yard and declared dead at the scene.   The suspect vehicle is a maroon colored Ford with damage to the left front headlight and side mirror.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Bedford.
