Horton to Begin Next Developmental Steps for Old High School Site

The long-awaited development of the old Allegany High School site is officially moving forward.  D.R. Horton plans to build 65 new homes on the property, a sizable housing development that Allegany County hasn’t seen in over six decades.  After working with Horton since fall of 2023, County Commissioner Dave Caporale announced during Thursday’s commissioner meeting that the contract has been finalized…
