I-68 eastbound lanes past Flintstone Closed

Update: 6:44 a.m. Interstate 68, Eastbound Lanes are going to be closed for a period of time now that Maryland Department of Transportation is taking over the scene and emergency crews are being relieved Maryland Transportation redirecting traffic onto route 144 at exit 56 in Flintstone to get around the overturned tractor trailer that occur just after 5 a.m. this morning. Presently there is no estimated time when Interstate 68, eastbound lanes will reopen so, expect extensive traffic delays on your morning commute.
Update: 6:20 a.m. emergency crews remain on scene of an overturned tractor trailer just outside of Flintstone He’s been lanes of interstate 68 remain closed however traffic is beginning to get by on the shoulder far right hand side of eastbound i-68 and your bailout point remains exit 56 in Flintstone to get around the accident. No reports of serious injuries the Maryland Department of transportation has been dispatched to the scene.
Report: 5:28 a.m. Allegan County Emergency services dispatch to an overturned tractor trailer truck closing eastbound lanes of Interstate 68 in Flintstone Maryland.
