Intelligence Center For Falling Waters

Kathy Cornwell

West Virginia has announced another major business development project, this one in Berkeley County.  Penzance Management has earned the designation as the state’s first High Impact Intelligence Center. To be located in Falling Waters, the data center will cover 548 acres and deliver 600 megawatts of IT capacity. Governor Patrick Morrisey says the project will create 1000 construction jobs and 125 permanent jobs…

“This is going to be a difference-maker for Berkeley County. It’s going to be a difference-maker for the state. No state funding went into this project. The Power Generation and Consumption Act helped make this investment possible and it helped make West Virginia the most attractive place in the country to build an intelligence center.”
