Libraries Celebrate Maryland 250 With Storytelling

The Allegany County Library System continues celebrating Maryland 250 with an intergenerational storytelling series called Red, White & Remembered.  The series will be hosted at each of the County’s six libraries over different dates.  A full list of dates can be found at alleganycountylibrary.info.  Library spokesperson Ashley Swinford says individuals of all ages can share July 4^th memories and traditions…

“We just wanna bring people together, share some of those memories, listen to one another, learn about others’ traditions and how it’s changed overtime.  So, just a nice personal storytelling session that we’re gonna have at each location.”
