Lighthouse Experiences Growth

Lighthouse Christian Academy on Bedford Road continues its growth in enrollment and athletics.  Development Director Mina Harper tells WCBC News that enrollment is strong…

“We’re pretty excited for this year’s start.  We have over 350 students that have chosen LCA as our educational choice—that’s campus wide.  That also includes our homeschool umbrella which I think right now, actually, is the largest one in our county.”

Chris Holstein is the Chair of the Athletic Board at Lighthouse and he says the sports program is booming.

“We’re in a season of real growth.  We’re serving roughly ninety student athletes across our expanding programs such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, track, middle school athletics and cheer, and we have about five JCP soccer teams, and we are starting a wrestling program.”
