Local Minister Releases Book

Using intensely personal experiences, local minister Christine Atkinson has written her first book, “Shame To Glory.”  Using biblically based tools, Atkinson relates her personal story while guiding others to leave the strongholds of trauma, addiction, and shame and make a determination that shame does not define them. Atkinson said the strongest response to her writing has come from speaking to high school students…

“So many kids started crying. And they were all, like, yes – shame is affecting my life and I don’t want it to affect my life. And they all started renouncing shame. I mean it was beautiful. They all started crying and I believe they received healing from the Lord that day.”

The book is available on Amazon and Atkinson will have a book signing at Chick Fil A Queen City Center on March 24 from 2 to 3pm and 6:30 to 7:30pm.
