Jim Zamagias has been with WCBC Radio since 1981. He has been a valuable member of the sports and news teams, even while completing his 45 year career as a teacher at Bishop Walsh. Now retired from teaching, Jim is the evening news voice for WCBC and occasionally hosts the Dave Norman Morning Show. His love of radio dates back to listening to Bob Prince and the Pittsburgh Pirates growing up.

Maryland traffic deaths declined in 2025.  It is the first year that traffic fatalities dropped below 500 since 2014.  In 2025, there were 480 fatalities while in 2023 there were 621 deaths.
