Mayor and Council to Meet Wednesday Evening

The Cumberland Mayor and City Council will meet Wednesday evening at City Hall.  During the open work session, the council will receive a final parade update for this Saturday’s event.  During the public meeting starting at 6:15, the city is slated to seek a $100,000 grant from the state to widen the intersection of Harrison and South Mechanic Streets in anticipation of Interstate 68 bridge repairs.  The council may also approve outdoor seating agreements with two downtown businesses.
