McKay Concerned About Possible Program Cuts

When the Maryland General Assembly goes back to work this Wednesday, it will be facing questions of how to overcome a growing state deficit, while not passing on more costs to Maryland taxpayers. “I’m really concerned about the Department of Natural Resources and what they call Open Space programs – that’s stuff for parks and playgrounds – those type of things. And I think those are the ones that are going to get the low-hanging fruit and get cut.”
