Mechanic Street Trespassing Arrest

On Saturday, January 10th, 2026, officers with the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 100 Block of N. Mechanic Street for a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Sherman Denmark. It was determined that Denmark did not have permission to be inside the building, and had been trespassed by the property management. Denmark was placed under arrest. Denmark was transported to police headquarters and later released on a criminal citation pending trial.
