Mechanic Street Trespassing Arrest

On Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 100 block of N. Mechanic St for the report of a trespassing. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject whom they knew had been trespassed from the property due to other recent calls for service. As a result, Patrick Fitzgerald Martin Jr, 30, of Mt. Savage, MD, was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. At the time of his arrest, Martin was also found to be in possession of suspected CDS paraphernalia. Martin was issued Criminal Citations for each offense and released, pending trial in District Court.
