Memorial Avenue Disturbance Arrest
On Saturday, January 31, 2026 at approximately 8:56 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 200 block of Memorial Avenue for a disturbance over a parking space. Police arrived and contacted the parties involved. One of the subjects involved was identified as Aaron Manning. Manning was found to be causing a disturbance and he refused to listen to officers’ orders to stop yelling. Manning continued to interfere with the investigation after being given multiple commands by officers. It was also learned that Manning was barred from the property. When police went to arrest Manning, he resisted and assaulted an officer. Police were eventually able to take Manning into custody. He was transported to Central Booking and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. Manning was released on his personal recognizance.
