Messiah Christian Academy Acquires Rights to Fort Ashby Building

At Monday evening’s Mineral County Board of Education meeting, Messiah Christian Academy was awarded the right to conduct classes at the former Frankfort Intermediate School in Fort Ashby.  Administrator Dan Thompson told WCBC News Monday evening that the building can hold up to 400 students.   Messiah will open the school year in Carpendale on September 8 with plans to move to its new home later in the school year.
