Moore Says He is “Hungry”

A recent sit-down interview with Governor Wes Moore and Politico’s Jonathan Martin included Maryland crab cakes and talk on redistricting, Joe Biden, and the inevitable question about a run for President. Martin asked the governor why he won’t keep that door open…
“I have a target that’s sitting in front of me right now. The target’s that’s in front of me right now is I have an election in November that I just don’t want to win, I want the people of Maryland to send a message. The other target that I have is I have to make sure my people are protected because right now we are under assault. I’m hungry but I’m not thirsty. My definition of hungry is making sure you’re focusing on 2026. My definition of thirsty is making sure you’re focused on 2028.”
