Morgantown Residents Sentenced For Drug Trafficking

Two West Virginia residents received jail time for their roles in a drug trafficking organization that sold large amounts of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine in North Central West Virginia. Jeffrey Marsh, 47, of Morgantown, was sentenced to 78 months in prison. Bobbie Jo Phillips, 39, also of Morgantown, was sentenced time served after serving 22 months in federal prison. Phillips and Marsh worked within a drug trafficking operation led by Rodney Johnson, in the Morgantown area. Johnson was sentenced to 188 months in prison in March 2025.
