Morrisey Thankful for Trump Gesture During Speech

Governor Patrick Morrisey has thanked President Donald Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth for recognizing two National Guard members from West Virginia during the state of the union speech. President Trump awarded the Purple Heart to U.S. Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom posthumously and to Air Force Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe for injuries sustained while stationed in the nation’s capital. Wolfe was on-hand in the viewing gallery to receive his medal. Morrisey had made a request for the medals in December.
