Need For Skilled Workers In WV

The announcement of a defense contractor locating in Martinsburg has again highlighted good and bad news for the Mountain State.  West Virginia has made several announcements this year of large businesses coming in, but Governor Patrick Morrissey says the need is now for more skilled workers for the jobs being introduced…

“We’re going to need to continually produce more and more people with these skills. More electricians, more plumbers, more HVAC, more sheet metal workers, more contractors. We have a deep need for that. And in fact, even last month when I looked at the statistics, we saw construction jobs moving up 1,300.”
