New FSU President Takes Over

A new era has officially begun at Frostburg State University as Dr. Shadow JQ Robinson begins his tenure as college president. Robinson takes the role after the retirement of interim president Dr. Darlene Brannigan-Smith who was appointed to head the university after the death of President Ron Nowacyzk in 2025. Robinson comes to Frostburg from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.  Robinson earned a doctorate in theoretical nuclear physics from Rutgers University in 2002 and has been published extensively.
