New Self-Service Tax Portal

Maryland Tax Connect, the state’s self-service tax portal, is expanding to serve individual taxpayers beginning September 1. It is the first system-wide modernization of the state’s tax infrastructure in 30 years. The online portal offers account balances, filing history, and other tools including tax return filing, making estimated payments, and check refund status. A transition to the new system begins in August with the official launch coming in September.
