PACE Reception Pays Off for School Board

Jim Zamagias

Without question the best news for Allegany County last week was the governor’s announcement of 12 million dollars for flood recovery in the Georges Creek area.  There are also many other behind the scenes actions at PACE that benefit Allegany County.  School board vice president Dr. David Bohn said currently there is no one central location for vehicles and buses.  Bohn was happy to tell WCBC News that a solution may have been found.

“We may have found space here at PACE.  So that’s a good reason.  People are like, “why do they go to PACE?”  Well, there’s a good reason to go to PACE.  We found a place that works out really well.  The mayor of Frostburg knew about it and his director of public works made a call and within 10 minutes we had a process going.”
