Parents, Others Encouraged To Attend ACPS Meetings

The next meeting of the Allegany County Board of Education is scheduled for Tuesday March 10th at 5pm, but the school system is asking that parents and others interested in education make plans to start attending the monthly meetings. Public Information Officer Kris Kehrwald says community participation is essential…
“We need and want our families’ attendance. We encourage them to sign up and speak in person or submit questions for the board ahead of time and then you can attend virtually from your house.”

“Sometimes there are a lot of matters that can just be solved by talking to your school – calling your school and your school principal. For larger matters, we really recommend that you call the board office.”
