Park Pool Running Smoothly This Summer

The Constitution Park pool has had a busy start to the season.  Successes have included a new concession stand operator, a fully functioning baby pool, and a new pool liner.  A challenge has been the closure of the pool’s large water slide, according to Ryan Mackey, Director of Parks and Rec for the city…

“We sealed it this year and something happened that the sealant didn’t stick. We’re not sure what happened there. But have no fear, we have some new sealer ordered. It’s on its way and we’re hoping to get it fixed and have it back up and running next week.”

Mackey added that the day camp is up and running until August 7.  New campers can register online.
